February 8 - 7:00 p.m. - Bible study and prayer meeting at the church.

February 9 - 9:30 a.m. - Morning View WMSC will meet at the church.

February 12 - 6:00 p.m. - Friendship Banquet - c/o Dwight & Fannie Heatwole, Scott & Thea Campbell, and Ruth Nissley.

February 17, 18 - (Friday 5:30 p.m. - Saturday after lunch) Mountain Valley Churches Women=s Retreat at Highland Retreat Center. The theme is "Pearls of Great Price," with guest speaker, Carolyn Myer.

February 21 - Pottery demonstration at LeAnna Good's place. This is the first meeting of the women & girls mentoring. The rest of the meetings will focus on making bread. More later.

February 26 - 7:00 p.m. - Video from Morning View 1990, 1991.

February 27 - March 3 - Annual MCC Turkey Canning at the Mennonite Relief Center, Hinton, VA. Our day to help is February 28, but you may help any day from 5:00 a.m. until 11p.m. Early morning help is especially needed.

March 13-18 - Basic Life Principles Seminar at Dayton Mennonite Church instead of the Mt. Valley Winter Bible School for this spring. Flyers with more information are available.

March 17 - VMRC auxiliary auction. Gift baskets, plants, baked goods, etc. are needed. More later.


A LOOK AT VMBM MISSIONS:

Pray for the change of presidents in K-sova, especially as the new leader relates to the Christian church in that country. Religious freedom is an issue. Also pray that the many young believers will stand strong in this difficult time.
