ANNOUNCEMENTS August 9 - 7:00 p.m. - Bible study and prayer meeting here at the church. We will continue the study of The Kingdom that turned the world upside down.
August 18-20 - Church campout at Highland Retreat’s Mt. Everett.
There will be no service here at the church on Sunday, August 20. Our church service will be held at Mt. Everett at 10:00 a.m.
August 28 - September 2 - This is our week to man the hotdog stand at Red Front. Sign up on the bulletin board.
September 23 - 9th annual Bike Shenandoah to raise funds for Roberta Webb Child Care Center, VMBM, MCC, and Mennonite Media. Registration deadline is Sept. 8 at www.bikeshenandoah.org.
A LOOK AT VMBM MISSIONS: The work team from Mountain View Mennonite Church (Hickory, N.C.) Inspired the Diego Martin Mennonite Church in Trinidad to set this goal: form teams from their congregation to reach out and help needy people in their own church and community. Praise God for the blessings that flowed both ways!
