ANNOUNCEMENTS August 23 - 7:00 p.m. - Bible study and prayer meeting at the church. We will continue the study of The Kingdom that turned the world upside down. August 28 - September 2 - This is our week to man the hotdog stand at Red Front. Sign up on the bulletin board. September 9 - 5:30 p.m. - Community Picnic and concert with the Blue Mountain Sunrise here at the church. September 23 - 9th annual Bike Shenandoah to raise funds for Roberta Webb Child Care Center, VMBM, MCC, and Mennonite Media. Registration deadline is Sept. 8 at www.bikeshenandoah.org. September 28, 29 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, and 9:00 a.m. - District Assembly at the Calvary Church. There will be Saturday afternoon activities for all ages. The guest speakers are Sam & Kathy Gingerich. October 1 - 7:00 p.m. - Communion Service here at the church. A LOOK AT VMBM MISSIONS: At the end of July Aaron and Laura Kauffman, VMBM and MMN workers, joined the La Mesa Mennonite Church youth and leaders in a three-day camping trip.
