lunch for your noon meal.
The 44 th annual Apples for Relief Project, sponsored by the
Southeastern Mennonite Conference, is scheduled for September
19th– October 7th. The goal is to dry 500 bushels of apples. Eighty
to ninety people can be used each evening. The peeler will be
provided, but knives and pans should be brought. The project will be
held at the Hinton Relief Center in Hinton, VA; beginning at 6:30 each
evening. Morning View’s evenings to help: Tuesday, Sept. 20
and Thursday, Sept. 29. However, anyone is welcome on any of
the evenings. Contact Gerald Knicely with questions.
Praying For Our Family: Pray for the millions of refugees moving
and settling in new places around the world. May the global body of
Christ make them feel welcomed where they go and share the love of
Jesus in word and deed.
