ANNOUNCEMENTS September 17 - 5:30 p.m. - “Guess who’s coming for dinner.” If you are a guest and have said you would bring a salad or dessert, remember to take it along. September 18 - 7 - 8:30 p.m. - A five-Monday evening Positive Parenting class, led by Harvey Yoder, will be held at the Family Life Resource Center, using Active Parenting video material, the text Common Sense Parenting ($13), and a variety of handouts. Cost is $35 per person, or $60 for two participants from the same household. September 20 - 7:00 p.m. - Bible study and prayer meeting at the church. We will continue the study of The Kingdom that turned the world upside down. September 24 - 6:00 p.m. - There will be a commissioning service for Steve Estep as Overseer for the Mountain Valley District at the Dayton Mennonite Church. September 29, 30 - 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - The District Assembly will meet at the Calvary Church (old Mt. Clinton School). Saturday afternoon there will be activities for all ages. Sam & Cathy Gingerich will be guest speakers. October 1 - 4:00 p.m. - Harmonia Singing at the old Singers Glen School. NEEDED - New or like-new items for the children’s auction at the relief sale, Sat. (Oct 7). If you can donate something bring it to Eileen by Wed. evening, Oct 4. A LOOK AT VMBM MISSIONS: Willard and Eva Eberly, VMBM workers in Bari, Italy, are getting back into life and work in the Centro Koinonia congregation and in their community.
