Our Leaders

Ric Gullman, Pastor

Ric Gullman was born in Ethiopia to missionary parents. He spent most of his growing up years in Ethiopia and then after high school attended one year of Bible school in Colorado. Later he attended Hesston College in Kansas and Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia. While in Virginia, he met his wife, Joy. They have three adult children. Ric has been serving as a pastor at Morning View since 1996.

Raleigh Rhodes, Pastor

Raleigh is a native of the Shenandoah Valley. He is married to Pat and they have three adult children. He graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in 1984 and has served in various voluntary service assignments. Raleigh was ordained to the ministry in 1991. He has served the Morning View congregation since 2007. He enjoys the ministry, family time, walking, reading, and gardening.

Philip Borntrager, Deacon

Philip Borntrager is the son of a minister and grew up in Indiana. He attended Rosedale Bible Institute in Ohio and graduated from Eastern Mennonite University. He is married to Evelyn, and they have three grown children.

Steve Slabaugh, Deacon

Steve Slabaugh has been an active member of Morning View since 1999. He has served in many capacities during that time and in 2013 was asked to serve as an assistant deacon. Steve is married to Eunice and they have nine children.
