Wednesday – 7:00 pm Prayer and Bible study August 3-7 – Congregational members with children & grandchildren are invited to Youth Savings Week at Everence Federal Credit Union for fun activities: photo booth, coloring contest, refreshments. The bank will add $5 to child’s account if they deposit $15 to a new or existing account. August 9 – 7:00 pm Rob Mullet Family will be sharing an evening of music. August 23 – We will have a Talent and Scrapbook service. Everyone is encouraged to bring a talent or blessing to share. Instrumental or vocal music, scripture, poems or stories, art, photography, video, drama, etc. Please contact Raleigh, Marcus, Alvin or Jonathan to share your ideas and get on the schedule Spare change can have a powerful impact with My Coins Count, a program of Mennonite Central Committee and Virginia Mennonite Missions. Funds this year will go to Kids Club (Shenandoah Valley, Va.); Maranatha School for the Deaf, Jamaica; Joshua Center, Albania; a school for Sudanese refugees, Egypt; and the Village Altonodji, a school for vulnerable children, Chad. The Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale is looking for two people to help with food committee responsibilities as well as one person to help with organizing the breakfast.
