ANNOUNCEMENT: The Church Council is recommending that the church call Casey Cantrell and Jonathan Cannone to serve as elders for a one year term starting September 1, 2026 and going through August 31, 2027. If affirmed, we will work out the details regarding responsibilities and tasks to be assigned to each of these men. Our hope is that within the year we can license another deacon and call a pastor or pastors or, in some other way, provide for longer term leadership of the church.

Ballots were handed out last Sunday. There are more on the desk below the mailboxes. Please return your completed ballot by August 30th to Philip B., Phil K, or Ric. Ric will mail them to Daryl Driver to be read and counted or, if you prefer, you can mail your completed ballot directly to Daryl. The needed affirmation percentage is 75%.

We hope to be able to announce the outcome on September 6 or 13 and have a commissioning on October 4. If you have questions, please talk to a council member. And please continue to make all this a matter of prayer.
