Wed, Sept 18 - PM New Horizons Ministries from Canon City, Colorado will be sharing with our congregation. More information to come. Sept 22 – We plan to receive Hans & Carla Byler and Jonathan Cannone into church membership during the morning service. Sept 22 – MVMC picnic at Mike and Patrice Sager’s in WV. Hotdogs and paper supplies will be provided. Please bring a dish to share. Address: 283 Sager Hollow Rd, Lost River, WV. There will be balloons at every turn off from Rt. 259 onward. Sept 23 - Oct 11 - Apple Drying Relief Project at Hinton Relief Center beginning at 6:30PM each evening. The goal is to dry 500 bushels of apples. From 80-90 people can be used each evening to peel and cut apples. Bring knives and pans. Mountain Valley Churches’ designated evenings are Monday, Sept 23 and Monday, Sept 30; however, you are welcomed to help any evening. Come, enjoy the fellowship while helping those less fortunate! There is a benefit auction for New Horizons Ministries at Dayspring Mennonite Church on Friday, September 27 at 5PM. Location: 5522 Catlett Road, Midland, VA 22728. 100% of the proceeds go to the non profit organizations: New Horizon Ministries, Good Life Ministries, and Care Net Pregnancy Resource Centers.
