September 24: Mountain Valley Fall Carry-In Picnic at Fulks Run
Ruritan Park. Volleyball will begin around 3 PM; Meal at 5:30.
Tableware will be provided. You may want to bring lawn chairs.
October 6-7: The annual men and boy's campout will be Friday
evening, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th at the James River
State Park near Gladstone Virginia. Come for a fun weekend of
fellowship, good food, and floating the river. Please RSVP to Matthew
Rhodes by September 23rd.
October 8: 7 PM Fall Communion
Correction: The next Women and Girls’ Meeting will be November
2 nd , not November 9 th . At this meeting, Joan Simmons will be
teaching basket making. The cost of supplies will be $5 to $10 per
person. Please let Kellie know by mid October if you think you will be
able to attend so that enough supplies can be purchased.
