ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today: – 2 PM Service at Blue Ridge Retirement Home (formerly Avante). Come join in with the singing!

Today: – Mountain Valley Fall Carry-In Picnic at Fulks Run Ruritan Park. Volleyball will begin around 3 PM; Meal at 5:30. Tableware will be provided. You may want to bring lawn chairs.

Wednesday: – 7 PM Prayer meeting & Bible study

September 18 – October 6:– Apple drying project at the Hinton Relief Center. Morning View is scheduled specifically for Tuesday, the 26 th , but anyone is welcome on any of the evenings.

October 6-7:-The annual men and boys campout will be Friday evening to Saturday afternoon at the James River State Park near Gladstone Virginia. Come for a fun weekend of fellowship, good food, and floating the river. RSVP to Matthew Rhodes.

October 8: – 7 PM Fall Communion

October 28-29:– Renewal meetings with Larry Martin. There will be a carry-in fellowship meal Sunday the 29 th .

November 2:- Women and Girls’ Meeting. Joan Simmons will be teaching basket making. The cost of supplies will be $5 to $10 per person. Please let Kellie know by mid October if you think you will be able to attend so that enough supplies can be purchased.
