Today - Avante Nursing Home has been bought out by Curis. This is Morning View's month to sing and lead worship there on October 28 at 2:30pm. Consider eating lunch with us at the church that Sunday and going along to Curis. "In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto Me." Matthew 25:40 Wednesday - 7:00pm Bible study & prayer Let's bless Lanae Rhodes: - We want to send Lanae a box of goodies & cards to bless her in her service as a Nanny. A list of things she would enjoy is on the bulletin board. Items can be gift wrapped to make it more fun, but is optional. Also optional is attaching your name to your item in some way. If you would rather give money toward the shipping costs, that would also be helpful. The collection box (at the back of the church) has an envelope for "Shipping Costs". Cash or check accepted. Make checks payable to Judith Berry. If the shipping money ends up being more than the shipping costs are projected to be, some will be used to buy a few more things for the box or sent to be used as gas money. The deadline is October 28. Contact Judith with any questions. Nov 2-4 - Inspirational Song Leaders Conference at Morning View. Speaker: Paul Fretz, Marion, PA. Session 1 begins at 7pm Friday evening. Nov 10 - Benefit Auction for Jean Ritchie. Details are on the bulletin board. We are again asking for people to volunteer to help monitor the parking lot and play ground after church. If we have enough people to volunteer, no one will have to do it real often. Thank you for considering helping out. Nov 11-14 - Joint renewal meetings with the Bethel congregation Speaker: Robert Riegsecker. Topic: Knowing God; Taking a Step Deeper In The River, Ezekiel 47 Schedule: Sunday morning, Wednesday evening - Bethel Sunday, Monday, Tuesday evenings - Morning View 7 PM Our congregation is invited to the Sunday morning service at Bethel but we are also having a regular service at Morning View. No Wednesday evening service here at Morning View. |
